- NewHyperprop now auto-logs your fills, like TradingView, TopstepX and Tradovate. Keep the terminal's History tab open with All accounts unticked, and trades log themselves as they fill.
- NewSeven new guides. Whether you cut winners short and let losers run, what time of day you actually trade best, how to grade your own trades, using AI to analyse your trading, what your trading does after a loss, which of your setups actually works, and whether a prop firm evaluation is worth it for you.
- NewThe date and time on a hand-logged trade are now on the phone too (Android 1.0.27), along with everything shipped to the web this week.
- ImprovedThe in-app guide now covers everything shipped this week — setting the date and time on a hand-logged trade, hold time split into winners and losers, and the new share card for each Habits tile.
- NewChoptick emails you again. Prop-rule alerts through the session, and the Monday digest. Everything is on by default and every one of them can be switched off in Settings → Email notifications.
- NewYour trade scores are on the phone. The Trade Log shows each trade's letter and, when you open it, exactly what it was flagged for; Reflect lists the day's flags right above the discipline rating, so you are rating yourself against something rather than from memory.
- NewYour habits are shareable, and share cards can carry the numbers behind them. The scoring panel has its own Share button, and breakdown and habits cards can include the full table - the card grows to fit rather than dropping rows. Dollar amounts stay optional everywhere; switch them off and the money columns come out rather than sitting empty. Your mistake tags, your own grades and your discipline rating are still never included.
- NewHold time now splits winners from losers. The dashboard and the AI export show how long your winning trades ran against your losing ones, and how many times longer one is than the other - the question a single average hold time cannot answer. Each side counts only trades that carry an exit timestamp, and neither appears until there are enough of them to mean something.
- NewSetup is now a breakdown, and more of the dashboard is shareable. See which of your setups actually works - typed on a manual trade or read from a CSV. Every scoring tile has its own Share button, including a card for whether you are breaking your own rules less often than you were, and the account comparison can be shared with the account names left off. The time-of-day tables now say plainly that they group by when a trade was opened. Fixed: the "numbers behind it" checkbox needed a second click, and wide tables ran off the edge of the card.
- ImprovedEvery tile in Habits is now its own shareable card, including the ones about your own judgement. What your mistakes cost, the grades you give yourself, and your discipline rating can all be shared if you want them shared - each is its own image, and each says plainly that the figures are your own assessment. Your account numbers and journal notes are still never included, and there is still no setting that adds them.
- ImprovedThe site header is now the same on every page, and Guides opens a menu. Every guide is one tap from anywhere, on a menu that works on a phone; Terms and Privacy finally have a navigation bar instead of a single link home.
- FixedA trade you log by hand can now say when it happened. The form stamped whatever time you typed it in, so a trade entered late in the evening landed on the next session. Date and time are now yours to set, on the website and the phone, and the form tells you which trading day it will count as when the two differ.
- FixedThe What's new page was cutting some entries off mid-sentence and showing stray asterisks where bold text should have been. Longer entries now publish in full.
- NewClick any row in Habits to see the trades behind it. A score, a check, a mistake tag or a grade opens the trades that qualify — with what they have in common at the top, and, on each trade, the reason in your own numbers: "40 against your usual 2 on MNQ", "back in 12s after the last loss closed", "5th trade of that session".
- ImprovedThe scoring checks describe themselves plainly. Each one now says what it measures without telling you how to trade.
- ImprovedThe Guide now covers trade scoring. A new "Habits & trade scoring" section explains the ten checks, what the letters mean, and the three things the score deliberately will not do.
- FixedThe dashboard no longer breaks on a losing year. If your gross P&L was negative and you had commission rates set, the page stopped rendering partway down and said it could not load your journal. Everything below the top cards - win rate, drawdown, the charts, the breakdowns and the Habits panels - was blank.
- FixedA payout minimum your firm sets is now a gate Choptick actually checks. The "Getting paid" card called a funded account payout-ready while the firm's own dashboard failed it on a minimum balance. The account can now record that figure the way the firm publishes it — a smallest payout, or a minimum account balance — and every screen, badge and the phone read the same one.
- ImprovedYour scoring checks now reach you the same evening. Reflect shows what the session tripped — "3 trades past your normal day, 1 at 3× your usual size" — right above the box that asks you to rate your discipline. The dashboard leads with what each check has cost you instead of a letter grade, and a new panel answers the one question the others could not: are you breaking your own rules less often than you were?
- NewEvery trade now shows its own score. A new Score column in the Trade Log, with the checks it tripped on hover, and the full reason in the trade's ▸ Details row beside your own grade — including which checks could not be judged. Sort by it to find your worst trades.
- NewYour data export can be loaded back.
Download my datahas always given you everything Choptick holds; there is now a script that turns that file into a working local copy of your journal. - ImprovedGrading a trade is now a button. The grade button in every Trade Log row opens the trade with its score, the reasons behind it, and your own grade and mistake tags — and the same block is on the Edit form. It is no longer only inside the row's detail panel.
- NewA new Guides section explains the rules and numbers behind a funded account: the three kinds of drawdown, the consistency rule, what prop firms really cost once resets and commissions are counted, and the metrics worth watching.
- NewFunded accounts now show whether you can take a payout, exactly what is still needed if you cannot, and how much of your drawdown room a withdrawal would spend.
- NewThe account filters on the dashboard and the Prop Firms page can now show just your active funded accounts, or just your active evaluations.
- NewFive new ways to read your own trading. What each of your mistake tags has actually cost, your grades against what the trades did, your daily discipline score beside what that day made, and three new breakdowns - which trade of the day it was, how many losses came before it, and how fast you got back in after one. Plus a Commission card, so what the fills cost is on the dashboard instead of only in the export.
- NewChoptick can score every trade for you. Ten checks on how a trade was EXECUTED - size against your own median, how fast you got back in after a loss, how deep into the day it was, whether you added to a loser, and six more. Choose the ones that match how you intend to trade in Settings → Trade scoring, and the dashboard scores your whole journal against them and shows what each check has cost you. It never touches the grade you give a trade yourself.
- ImprovedThe Key numbers share card now carries every figure from your dashboard overview, including average hold time.
- FixedGrading and mistake tags now work on every instrument. They were only reachable through the chart panel, which opens for BTC, ETH and XRP - so on futures there was no way to grade a trade or tag a mistake at all. They have moved to the trade's own Details row. Tag names also read properly now ("Moved Stop", not "moved_stop").
- NewTrading on Tradovate now logs itself. Keep the Orders panel open and filled orders arrive in your journal as they happen, the same as TradingView and TopstepX — no report to run, no CSV. Catching up on an earlier day still works the way it did: run Account Reports → Fills and press Capture fills.
- NewHow long you hold a trade. The dashboard now shows your average and median hold time, a fill count beside the trade count, and a new "Hold time" breakdown - so you can see whether the quick ones or the ones you sit in are paying. Auto-logged and imported trades carry the timestamps this needs; trades typed in by hand are counted out rather than counted as instant.
- FixedThe Prop Firms tab in the Android app now opens on the accounts you can still trade, the same as the website, with a way back to your full history. Picking a plan on Firm Rules fills in the Add Account form for you to check, instead of creating the account outright — so the cost recorded is the one on your receipt rather than one Choptick guessed.
- NewShare your prop firm results — a card showing the payouts and what they cost to get, side by side. Firm names and account numbers never appear on it.
- NewThe dashboard has the trade log's filters — symbol, outcome and sentiment. Filtering to winners only also tells you which figures stop meaning anything (win rate, profit factor, drawdown), so a 100% win rate cannot be misread as news.
- FixedA prop record that is ahead now reads Net Profit in green. It was showing a profit as a red negative "Net Cost".
- ImprovedThe prop firm catalog now concentrates on the rules — drawdown type and size, daily loss limit, profit target, consistency caps, split and payout policy. Plan prices are no longer listed: they change constantly, and the firm's own page is the only reliable place to read one.
- NewDashboard charts show the figure under your cursor as you move across them.
- FixedProp plan names now read exactly as the firm writes them. A plan called "Rapid EOD" no longer shows as "Rapid EOD EOD", and two genuinely different plans no longer look identical in the picker.
- NewYou can leave a review from Settings. Nothing appears on the site until it has been read.
- FixedTapping the "log your day" banner in the app opens the reflection again.
- FixedThe show/hide control is now on every password box, including the reset page — where you type a new password twice and a typo you cannot see locks you out of your own account.
- NewA What's new page listing every change shipped to Choptick, with dates.
- NewA public guide to prop firm drawdown rules — static, end-of-day and intraday trailing, with a worked example, when the floor stops trailing, and what a payout does to your remaining room.
- FixedProp accounts can now record whether their trailing drawdown ever locks. Choptick used to assume every firm locks once you clear a buffer — for firms that keep trailing, such as NexGen, that could show drawdown room you did not have and hide a breach.
- NewThe Android app asks you to install an update before continuing when a new version is out, so the app and your live data never disagree.
- FixedA payout now counts against your drawdown. Withdrawing lowers your balance without lowering a trailing floor, so it spends your room — and payouts can now be linked to the account they came from, on the Payouts tab.
- NewThe app’s Prop tab now shows accounts that have traded but are not set up yet, so a synced fill under an unknown account number is no longer invisible on your phone.
- ImprovedProp firm Analysis — Plan EV, cost by firm, pass rates and the AI export — is now a Pro feature.
- ImprovedThe AI export is now part of Pro. Your 14-day trial includes it.
- FixedTapping a reminder on the app dashboard now opens the right tab instead of loading the full website inside it.
- FixedSettings now shows when your subscription renews. It had been blank for every subscriber.
- FixedDeleting your account now cancels its subscription first, so you are never billed after leaving.
- NewRe-pair, on any account — finds trades that got stuck and rebuilds them from your fills, cleans up duplicates, and never touches a trade you have edited. It tells you how many it left alone.
- NewTopstepX logs itself. The browser extension picks up your fills from TopstepX the same way it does TradingView — no CSV, no copy-paste. TopstepX only keeps the rows on screen, so Capture all scrolls the whole grid and puts your position back.
- NewReset to synced, in the edit dialog on any auto-logged trade — discards your edits and rebuilds it from your broker’s fills, keeping your notes, grade and mistakes. The way back if an edit goes wrong.
- NewThis week and This month on the dashboard range picker — calendar periods that follow the trading day, so Sunday evening’s session belongs to Monday.
- ImprovedThe Trade Log’s symbol filter lists what you actually traded instead of a fixed list of seven instruments.
- ImprovedThe extension can point at a different server without logging out, and says which one it is logging to.
- ImprovedPlan EV rates getting paid, not getting funded. A plan you can pass and never withdraw from is a subscription, and the rating now says so — it simulates the funded account too, not just the evaluation.
- FixedWith more than one TopstepX account open, fills now go to the account actually selected rather than the first one in the dropdown.
- FixedIgnoring a discovered account number is no longer permanent — ignored numbers can be restored.
- FixedWebull CSVs are recognised by name. They were being read as the ordered quantity and limit price instead of the fill — re-import any Webull file from before 21 August; duplicates are impossible, everything matches on the broker’s own order IDs.
- FixedEditing an auto-logged trade no longer breaks the trade beside it. Two trades share a fill when you stop and reverse, and the neighbour could quietly re-open and lose its P&L.
- FixedYour passed evals were being hidden from you. An account promoted Eval → Funded was drawn as one line coloured by how the funded account ended, so a pass followed by a blown funded account vanished into red. They are now two runs, each with its own ending.
- FixedNexGen’s commission rates were wrong — one rate for both the E-mini and micros. If you trade NexGen, re-apply the preset on your account; corrected rates do not reach accounts already saved.
- NewHide account #s on the Trade Log, Prop Firms, Personal and Dashboard — one click covers your account numbers for screenshots. It is a screen cover, not a security feature.
- NewA Firefox build of the browser extension, on the Connections page. Firefox forgets temporary add-ons when it closes, so you will reload it after a restart until it is on Mozilla’s store.
- NewBeta testers keep Pro for life — recorded on the account, not a setting that can lapse.
- NewConnect Claude to your journal. A Claude/MCP connector on the Connections page — ask questions about your own trades in plain language, and make changes it can undo.
- ImprovedIf something breaks we can now see it — errors are captured with enough context to diagnose. Still tell us what you were doing; that part we cannot capture.
- ImprovedThe app is fast now. The Trade Log and Prop Firms pages took a 7–8 second count to load and now come back in well under a second.
- ImprovedGetting set up is clearer — a first-run checklist that knows what you have already done, and when fills arrive under account numbers we do not recognise it says “Name the 2 accounts we found” with a button straight to them.
- ImprovedThe Trade Log is paginated — 50 rows by default, with a rows-per-page picker and jump-to-page, and it remembers what you chose.
- ImprovedCSV imports recognise your broker and map the columns themselves. When it is only guessing it says so and shows you the mapping to confirm, and it remembers your answer next time.
- ImprovedThe guide is up to date, and it is checked against the app so it cannot quietly describe an older version.
- FixedThe TradingView Desktop bridge failing to open TradingView had two real causes — a per-user install owned by somebody else’s Windows account, and the Microsoft Store build, which Windows will not let another program start with the flag it needs. Both are explained on the Connections page, and the bridge now names which copy it tried.
- FixedThe NinjaTrader add-on failing to import is usually your Documents folder being inside OneDrive — that check and its three-line fix now sit above the install steps instead of buried below them.
- FixedEval vs Funded is a moment, not a day. Choptick records the exact time you were funded, and every trade on a prop account has an Eval / Funded picker — so a 10:15 eval trade and an 11:20 funded one on the same day land in the right phase.
- NewCommissions. Choptick showed gross P&L while your firm’s dashboard shows net. It now knows the published rates for 29 schedules across 20 firms, each citing the page it came from — open a prop account and hit Load published rates. Every number on the page goes net.
- NewShare progress, on the dashboard — a clean image of your results. Account numbers, journal notes and grades are never included, and dollar amounts are off by default.
- NewA Commission Rates tab — every schedule side by side in round turn, so they are directly comparable. MNQ runs $0.50 to $2.34 depending on the firm.
- FixedA net number is never shown beside a gross one without saying which is which.
- NewClear synced, on any Prop or Personal account — wipes auto-logged trades so you can re-sync clean, and previews what will come back first. ⚠ TradingView only keeps about two weeks of order history; anything older will not come back.
- ImprovedA lot more instruments. Choptick priced 7 symbols and quietly ignored everything else. It now knows 34 — metals, energy, ags, currencies, indices, crypto — and when it meets one it cannot price it tells you instead of dropping the trade.
- FixedA fill can only belong to one account. If the same broker execution turned up under two accounts, Choptick used to double-count your P&L without a word.
- ImprovedScreens no longer download your whole journal to show a handful of numbers — the totals are worked out on the server.
- ImprovedThe site loads quicker.
- ImprovedThe account dropdowns are searchable — type a firm name or an account number instead of scrolling. The prop plan picker too: 476 plans across 39 firms.
