Terms of Service

Not financial advice. Choptick is a record-keeping and analytics tool only. It is not a broker, exchange, investment adviser, or signal service, and nothing it produces is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Trading futures, options, and other leveraged products carries a substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and their outcomes.

1. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Choptick. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and any connection tokens you generate, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or a token has been compromised; you can revoke tokens at any time from the Connections page.

3. The Service

Choptick lets you log trades manually or automatically (via connected third-party platforms), track prop-firm evaluation and funded accounts against firm rules, record reflections, and view analytics. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

4. Third-party connections

The Service can ingest trade data from third-party platforms such as TradingView and NinjaTrader through a browser extension or add-on. Choptick is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those platforms. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for complying with them. We are not responsible for data those platforms provide, withhold, or change.

5. Your data

The trades, notes, reflections, and other content you add or sync ("Your Content") belong to you. You grant Choptick a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We do not sell Your Content. You may export or delete Your Content, and deleting your account removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) access the Service through unauthorized means or interfere with its operation; (b) attempt to access another user's data; (c) reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service; (d) use the Service to violate any law or any third party's rights; or (e) upload malicious code. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Some features may be offered on a free plan and others on a paid subscription. If you purchase a subscription, billing is handled by a third-party payment processor acting as merchant of record; their terms apply to the transaction. Paid plans renew automatically for the same term unless cancelled before the renewal date. Pricing, plan limits, and refund policies will be disclosed at the point of purchase. Taxes may apply.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that analytics, calculations, imported fills, or prop-firm rule tracking are accurate, complete, or current, and you should independently verify anything you rely on — especially with respect to your prop firm's actual rules and your broker's records.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Choptick and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits, or lost data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Choptick and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which the Service operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
